Nature Workshops this Sunday in Washington Square Park

This Sunday, I'll be leading two nature and music workshops in Washington Square Park. Here are the details:

What: Nature & Music Workshops led by Lloyd Miller of the Deedle Deedle Dees

When: Sunday, June 6, 12:30pm and 1pm

Who: ages 1 and up

How much: FREE

Where: Washington Square Park, West Lab

Why: These labs are part of the World Science Festival, a citywide event you can read about here: http://www.worldsciencefestival.com/

The Deedle Deedle Dees are also performing as part of this event at 3:45 pm on the LaGuardia Stage (LaGuardia Place near Washington Square Park). The show is geared towards ages 0 and up.

Come for a workshop, stay for the show! As you'll see on the festival site, there are lots of family things to do all day in the park and the surrounding area.

June sing-a-long schedule

My Friday sing-a-longs at the Knitting Factory in Williamsburg will continue through June 25th. We'll take a break for July and August then resume in September.

My Tuesday sing-a-longs at the Tea Lounge and the Moxie Spot will stop this Tuesday, June 8th and start again in September.
