Waltz-Astoria sing-a-longs will continue w/o me
Astoria friends,
Good news! The Monday sing-a-longs at Waltz-Astoria will continue through the end of the year with a different performer.
As I mentioned in my last post, I'll be back at Waltz-Astoria on Mondays at 10:30am starting January 3rd.

Yes. All Brooklyn sing-a-longs are happening this week.
Sorry again for having to cancel last Tuesday's sing-a-longs at the last minute (sick kid). She's better and the sing-a-longs are back this week.

No sing-a-longs today (Tues, Nov 23) or Friday (Nov 26)
Hey everybody,
I have a sick kid and have to cancel my sing-a-longs at the Tea Lounge and the Moxie Spot today (Tues, Nov 23).
Also: I won't be doing my sing-a-long at the Knitting Factory this Friday, Nov 26, because of the holiday weekend.
Sing-a-longs will resume their regular schedule next week.

Sing-a-long album recording throughout November
I'm finally making a sing-a-long album... with you!
I'll be recording most of my sing-a-longs throughout November. I'll choose the best tracks and put out an album in early December.
This album won't be pressed and sold. I'm just going to post it online for everyone to download for free. Maybe you'll be on it!

No sing-a-longs this Tuesday (tomorrow)
Hey--
I have to postpone my opening sing-a-longs of the season at the Tea Lounge and the Moxie Spot until next Tuesday, September 28th. There will be nothing happening at the Tea Lounge tomorrow but Nat (who runs Moxie) will be leading a sing-a-long in my absence.
The kick-off sing-a-long at the Knitting Factory is on for this Friday, September 24th. 11am. $3 a family.

Nature Workshops this Sunday in Washington Square Park
This Sunday, I'll be leading two nature and music workshops in Washington Square Park. Here are the details:
What: Nature & Music Workshops led by Lloyd Miller of the Deedle Deedle Dees
When: Sunday, June 6, 12:30pm and 1pm
Who: ages 1 and up
How much: FREE
Where: Washington Square Park, West Lab
Why: These labs are part of the World Science Festival, a citywide event you can read about here: http://www.worldsciencefestival.com/
The Deedle Deedle Dees are also performing as part of this event at 3:45 pm on the LaGuardia Stage (LaGuardia Place near Washington Square Park). The show is geared towards ages 0 and up.
Come for a workshop, stay for the show! As you'll see on the festival site, there are lots of family things to do all day in the park and the surrounding area.

Sorry for the very late notice. I have to cancel tomorrow's Deedle Time class in Park Slope.

No sing-a-long Monday / New Monday plan
Due to the school holiday and bad traveling weather, I'm not going to have a sing-a-long at Midwood Martial Arts on Monday, April 5th.
My sing-a-longs at the Tea Lounge and the Moxie Spot are still happening at their usual times on Tuesday, April 6th. Classes on Thursday, April 8th, in Park Slope, and my sing-a-long at the Knitting Factory on Friday, April 9th, are also on.
Always check this page for the latest updated class and sing-a-long schedules. You can also call or text me at 917-873-0685 if you're out and about and want to know if something is happening.
