No sing-a-long Monday / New Monday plan

Due to the school holiday and bad traveling weather, I'm not going to have a sing-a-long at Midwood Martial Arts on Monday, April 5th.

My sing-a-longs at the Tea Lounge and the Moxie Spot are still happening at their usual times on Tuesday, April 6th. Classes on Thursday, April 8th, in Park Slope, and my sing-a-long at the Knitting Factory on Friday, April 9th, are also on.

Always check this page for the latest updated class and sing-a-long schedules. You can also call or text me at 917-873-0685 if you're out and about and want to know if something is happening.

By the way, I'm going to discontinue my Monday program at Midwood Martial Arts for the time being. I might start a small informal playgroup / sing-a-long in Ditmas Park / Midwood to replace it.

Sliding Scale

A lot of people have asked about this so I just wanted to clarify:

All session and drop-in rates for Deedle Time, the music and movement class taught by Lloyd Miller (Ulysses S. Dee), work on a sliding scale. If the cost of the class is too much, just pay what you can. Don't even ask us if the amount is okay. Just put it in an envelope and give it to us. We want you and your kids with us in class.

taught by Lloyd Miller
(AKA Ulysses S. Dee of the Deedle Deedle Dees)

Deedle Time is a unique class for kids ages 6 months to 4 years that uses original music, instrument making and other art projects, hands-on opportunities with real instruments and other cool stuff, picture books, and puppets to introduce kids to the world around them.

A six-week winter session begins after the Thanksgiving holidays on Thursday, Dec. 3rd. Class dates: Dec. 3, Dec. 11, Dec. 17, Jan 14, Jan 21, Feb. 4 (+ some special free classes TBA).

Note on class times: Most likely we'll only keep the 9:30 and 10:30 timeslots for the 6-week session. I'll decide based on the turnout for the free classes.

costs:
$175* for 6-week session
$35 to drop in

*Includes CD (new Deedle Deedle Dees CD coming in December), T-shirt, and materials fee for instrument making and other art projects!

siblings:
One sibling may attend free of charge.

sliding scale:
If you're on a budget, please pay whatever you can. Don't even ask me if the amount is all right. Just put it in an envelope and give it to me. This applies to drop-in fees as well as the session rate.

make-up policy:
If you or your child is sick, stay home. You won't lose your classes. You can make them up during any future session or at any location where Lloyd teaches Deedle Time.
